Not bad for airport food. I wanted to skip on fast food, so I came across this restaurant. The exterior looks fancy and expensive. I yelped recommendations so I ordered the grilled cheese with caramelized onions & tomato soup. It hit the spot !! I also ordered a vodka grapefruit cocktail Great menu !! Ps) updated: 8/15/15 I missed my flight due to the Big O and 5 hour layover... I got buzzed so my fault 12 hour Utah layover-- yup that was me

If you find yourself in the Salt Lake City airport with enough time to grab a bite, head for Cat Cora's. The last couple of times I've been there, I've ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese (get it with the grilled onions!). Don't save the croutons in the soup for last - they get kind of gross if they're in too long (but hey, what would you expect?). Another "can't go wrong" item is the flank steak tacos - they come deconstructed, so you can build them the way you like (don't leave off the mango salsa and slice up some of that roasted jalapeño!) Salt Lake City is my second favorite airport to eat in, thanks to Cat Cora's.

Plenty of power outlets. TV in great spots. Nice staff good people watching. Better than average good airport food. Fairly close to normal locations. Very good airport option

Really treated myself during a long wait for my flight. Ordered the medjool dates and jalapeño popper appetizers with a side of sweet potato fries. Loved the dates, fantastic pairing with the goat cheese. Great experience.

I don't need to write more than one sentence about good airport food being hard to find. For some terrible reason, it is hard to find and yet I can't really figure out why. Okay, that was two sentences. I ate here during a long layover and since it was rated 4.5 stars (for why?) and since I was a huge fan of Cat Cora on ICA. Though my service was quick and attentive, I watched the lady next to me get something she asked to not receive. Whether or not that is a reflection of the obliviousness of the wait staff or just misunderstanding, I am not sure. So overall, this place is just fine. It's hidden in the SLC airport, in the basement/downstairs of concourse B so if you think you missed it, just keep walking. They have a pretty good wine list though the wines I was excited about were only offered by the bottle (who is going to spend $85 on a bottle of wine in an airport, anyways?!). They do have a fun cocktail list which I expect from Cat (even one w/ her signature Orzo). I ordered two glasses of wine and the fresh fish catch sandwich with greens. The greens were really good; very fresh tasting and served with pitted(!) kalamata olives and a sweet vinaigrette dressing. I really dug the dressing. The sandwich itself was alright. There was a lot of fish but just a tiny bit of slaw served on top of it (which was tasty). It could have used more. And either the fish was overdone or the sandwich was just dry. I asked for some sauce after taking a couple bites and was offered garlic mayo. Their garlic mayo was an okay accompaniment as was the leftover dressing on my plate. It didn't overwhelm the flavors of the fish (it was a thinner mayo). Overall, if my gate were close, I'd probably eat here again to try the cobb salad. I just wouldn't mark this in the books as a great airport meal or as a place that gives Cat Cora bragging rights.

Airport restaurants can be tough. Yes, we all hear and read about the rise of finer dining in our nation's airports, and there are certainly many more and better options these days than there were in the past. On the other hand, I feel like airport restaurants still know that they have a captive audience with few options, and as a result, they take our business for granted. This restaurant looks very nice and has a fairly diverse menu, so I thought I would give it a shot. Service was fairly prompt, and the food was good. For an airport joint, that gets 4 stars in my book. Had this restaurant been located in the heart of the city, though, you'd be looking at a 3 star review. Say what you want about the resurgence of the airport dining experience, but it's still not as good as eating on the outside! The lamb meatballs appetizer was very tasty, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes lamb. Very juicy and flavorful. My only complaint is that there were only 4 of them. The clams and sausage appetizer was ok. I thought the broth was a bit bland, but the clams were cooked very nicely. The dish was light on sausage, however, and the soaked croutons didn't do much for me. The fish sandwich that day was halibut, and it was delicious. It didn't look that impressive, but once I took my first bite, I was hooked. I devoured the entire thing without setting it back down on my plate. I had a side of tomato soup with my sandwich. If you like a minimalist approach to tomato soup, thou may like it. To me, it was too tart, lacked cream, and was lackluster. Overall, Cat Corra's Kitchen is one of the better sit down dining options at the SLC airport. It can be hard to find, though. It is located on the Downstairs level of the B gates, so if you are coming from another gate, be sure to take the escalators down to the lower level of B.

My first time here. Prices were a bit steep for lunch, but I wanted a sit down place rather than take and go. Ordered two sides and an ice tea for $25. I tried the lobster mac & cheese with sweet potato fries. The fries were ok, and the mac & cheese was a little on the dry side but tasted good. The service was fast and friendly. I was seated at an elevated bar seat facing the kitchen and got to see the kitchen in action. They stayed clean and organized and replaced the cleaning towels regularly. I would say this is a good stop over spot between flights. Hope to try the breakfast on my next visit.

Totally satisfying airport lunch experience. I had a two-hour layover at SLC so figured I'd treat myself to a sit-down lunch near my gate. A glance at the menu made me reasonably certain they would be able to feed me something without gluten, and I wasn't disappointed. I would say $14 for an airport entree salad is what I would exist anywhere. I had the grilled avocado Cobb salad with chicken. It wasn't over dressed and had plenty of tasty protein piled on (the avocado and chicken, boiled egg, some bacon-strip type things...). The avocado was appropriately ripe, which made me happy, because airport avos tend to be a gamble. The staff was friendly and I was asked several times how my food was and if I needed anything. One server was a bit too chatty when I was waiting for my food and trying to use my phone, but usually I would appreciate that when traveling alone, so no harm. I would definitely come here again.
(4)Eve H.
I had the steak tacos with pineapple. The flavors were good. The steak was a little tough but cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The fajitas were a little stale-tasting. It was expensive ($20 after tax) but good for airport food. I'm interested in going again and trying more things. I'll have to go when I have 30 minutes to kill.
(3)Paula S.
Love finding this surprise restaurant on travels! The salads and sweet potato fries are the best

Traveling on Christmas can always be interesting. We had a long layover in SLC. My husband and I began searching the terminals for a late dinner spot. We accidentally discovered Cat Cora's Kichen. Finally a sit down that wasn't fast food. The waitstaff couldn't have been nicer being stuck with us haggard holiday travelers. We started with the homemade chips and blue cheese dip. There was more than enough for two here. The dip was divine. I then had the lobster mac and cheese. It was cheesy enough that my fork stood up in it. My kind of comfort food. We fully utilized the charging stations at our table, which was a great airport touch. The order placement time to table wasn't the speediest so plan your stop there accordingly, however, we were not in any hurry with the length of our layover. We will be back travel schedule permitting.

I had a three hour layover at SLC and while looking at the dining options at the airport, I saw that they had a Cat Cora restaurant. I've seen her on the Iron Chef show, so I thought we should check it out while we were stuck at the airport. This restaurant is located in Concourse B. It's a sit-down place and we waited for the hostess to seat us. There were three of us, so the hostess put two tables together for us and cleaned up the one table, which was recently vacated. There's quite a bit of seating here for being an airport restaurant. There are photographs of Cat Cora cooking in her kitchen and some pictures of food decorating the walls. The place has a nice modern classy look and feel to it. There was also a TV playing a baseball game. The menu is not huge - was a one pager. Lists sides, mains, sides, and desserts. You can also get wine and cocktails. That evening, they had a special which was halibut for $25. The prices are a bit high, even for an airport restaurant. But I guess it's supposed to be like a more upscale option at the airport. Many of the items sounded good but we settled on the Cobb salad which we added shrimp for extra (you can also add chicken as an option too) and the "total catch" fish sandwich. The food didn't come out quickly, so I feel like they were actually preparing it to order, instead of it being premade and heated. The Cobb salad was really pretty with beautiful colors. And it was really yummy - the shrimp came on a skewer and was good. There was boiled egg and blue cheese. I liked it! The fish sandwich was all right. The fish was slightly in the dry side. Forgot to ask what kind of fish it was, but it was some white fish. With the sandwiches, you get to pick either a side salad, sweet potato fries, or a spicy tomato soup. I chose salad, and it was basically mixed greens. Overall, the food was decent, ambiance was nice for an airport restaurant, and our server was great.

Before we get to the heart of the matter, the service was attentive and friendly. They have a little nook by the hostess stand for your luggage and there are outlets under the bar for all your charging needs. Here is an excerpt of my IM conversation during lunch at Cat Cora's Kitchen in the SLC airport. Me: I don't know how I feel about this salad. It's confused. Friend: Does it identify as mac and cheese? Me: Cobb salad with grilled avocado, sweet dressing, prosciutto strips and sundries tomatoes. That would be the better choice, if they had it. Friend: Hmmm... yeah, that's a lot going on that doesn't necessarily seem to be well thought out. All those things are delicious, but kind of seems like a menu item that takes fancy-sounding things people are familiar with and throws them all together. Me: I expect better from Cat. Friend: As would I. Bad Cat. Bad Cat. She's sold her soul. Me: And what's the deal with grilling the avocado?? Friend: I don't see the point. Me: I might put our entire conversation in my Yelp review. And here we are... Don't order the Cobb salad; it's filled with random ingredients tossed with disappointment. And if you order a beer, get the bottled stuff - I'm pretty sure the draught is watered down to meet the draconian requirements of Utah religiousati.

Last week my wife and I were in SLC airport at this restaurant.i was hoping for a great meal because it had Cat Cora's name on it and I was starving. Turns out yuk! My wife had tomato soup and grilled cheese which was Luke warm? I ordered the lamb shank which was not hot either. The shank was cooked nicely and served with an enormous amount of barely warm jalapeño mashed potato. The potatoes had two many jalapeños and was overpowering.this mess was served with two tomatoes and two pieces of carrot.Which could only be described as weird. $50.00 later I thought what a waste!

Next time I have a connection in Salt Lake City International Airport (YES, I sad AIRPORT) I am going to extend my layover a bit to be able to dine at Cat Cora's Kitchen. I know, crazy right?! On a recent trip my husband and I only had time to order and enjoy a couple of small plates. As we sat at the bar overlooking the open kitchen - enjoying our scrumptious Edamame and Avocado Hummus and the most perfectly Grilled Artichoke with Caper Sauce - we both drooled with envy while watching other food items being sent out. I almost jumped over the counter to snatch the most amazing looking ever Lamb Shank from s staff member's hand. Seriously. This is a place - IN AN AIRPORT - that I would pay 35 bucks a plate for and like it! Plus, who knew Cat Cora had her very own Pale Ale. I mean, she does seem to be a really cool chic...and beer. My new Chef crush! Tip: Chef Cora has two other airport locations: Houston and San Francisco. Fact: Less than a month after opening her SF locale her Kitchen was was voted 3rd in the world for airport restaurants. Guess who just happens to be flying into SFO in a few weeks? This girl! Lamb Shank here I come. RTF.

What a delightful place to wait out a flight delay. The Royal C2 with pear vodka, St. Germain, grapefruit juice, and lemon juice was divine. The cheesecake is more than I expected. It's crumbly with a more of a cake consistency than a traditional cheesecake with plump blueberries in the cake and a dollop of homemade whipped cream on the side. I got to sit facing the escalator so the people watching was spectacular. Great service, too!
(4)Mark M.
Best breakfast I have ever had in an airport. Great roasted chili omelet, bacon crisp and phenomenal potatoes. Adam is a great bartender, he can handle the stress of a busy bar.
(5)Mandy R.
Meh, this place left me disappointed. It's a two-and-half star review, but I'll round up here because decent airport restaurants aren't always easy to find. I was in a hurry, so I just ordered the burger without looking at the menu much, and with a presentation kitchen and upscale look, I expected something better. The burger was dry and nearly unedible. The sweet potato fries were uninspired (is everyone serving theses nowadays?), and unimpressive. The traveller next to me ordered a tasty-looking Cobb salad, so perhaps there is hope for Cat Cora's. The service was friendly and efficient, though. I'd stop here again and check the menu more carefully, but I'd steer clear of the burger!
(3)Jennica J.
Really love this place! Happy to have found a good place at a airport. I travel often for work and find few places to eat that are good. Happy to find this place
(5)Wayne C.
Really good . . . for airport food. Don't get me wrong, the offerings at Cat Cora's Kitchen are decent and provide options for a diversity of tastes, but its just not great. The best part is the simplicity. They have your standard burger, but pair it with sweet potato fries. They also have braised meats, a bounty of salads, and a bunch of regional dishes that feature fresh, local ingredients. All of that is to say - Cat Cora's Kitchen is good, that is really trying to be a farm-to-table establishment - but falls a little short. The best part of the Kitchen is the fact that they offer real beer - as opposed to the Bud Light and Miller offerings which seem to be ubiquitous throughout the airport. They also have a good number of wine pours and a full bar with premium drinks. One thing that stuck out for me was the service - and I guess that's not such a good thing. I appreciate the stress that people are under working at an airport restaurant. I know they are forced to deal with folks with various levels of frustration and overwhelm, and I praise them for holding it together 9-times-out-of-10. However, the service at Cat Cora's was really underwhelming. The servers seemed to be drained and generally of very low energy. Alas, this was not distracting from the meal and is more than likely a function of the fact that they are working at an airport concession with high stress.
(3)Joy A.
They serve a limited menu on Saturday nights apparently. And by limited, I mean just apps. Snacks and no real entree/food. For a Cat Cora establishment, this is definitely up to par as everything should be available at all times so guests can try her highly-acclaimed food. The service was blah, the food prep was a woman who had her hair DOWN and not tied back. All things wrong with this place.
(2)fmc c.
The food is tasty. Service is efficient. Given its in an airport, the pricing seems fair. Would recommend they place your luggage away from the main entrance. I would definitely eat here again next time I'm in Bush Airport.
(4)Georgette K.
I'm flying back to Las Vegas and had an hour to kill. I didn't feel like fast food. I saw this place on the way to my gate and it looked nice. I was immediately greeted and sat down. I ordered the Pinot Gris. Light and crisp. My entree is the scallop fettuccine. When it came to the table it smelled delicious. It's really tasty. It's a bit spicy but the avocado cools it down. I'd come back for the same dish if I were passing through again. My service was prompt and professional.
(4)Nicole H.
Ended up with a very long layover in the SLC Airport and came here for dinner. I wasn't feeling good so ordered hot toddies to drink, which were great. I got the spicy tomato soup and grilled cheese to eat. The tomato soup was not spicy, but was tasty and I loved the caramelized onions in the grilled cheese. The service was on point at all times. There are also a lot of seats with plugs nearby, which is a nice bonus.
(4)Mike E.
Best bar/restaurant in an airport I have ever been to!!! The service was unbelievable . No really ! The service was beyond 5 star and the food was great! I will be here every time I fly to SLC! Thanks Aimee and Gerald!!!! Made my day!

April 27, 2014 Sunday - dinner 7:00 PM 1 adult Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 2 stars Service - 3 stars Background - One of Food Network's star's so I thought I would try the place. I saw the low ratings on Yelp, but I figure they were because most people ate here during a rush. Atmosphere - It is a Monday night with a handful of people in the restaurant. The place was designed for the solo traveler. Long restaurant with many to two person tables Food Drinks - I had the Moab's Johnny IPA on tap. They froze my beer. There was ice inside by glass. I am not drinking Coors Light here. I had to wait for the beer to warm up; you know how hard that is after sitting on a plane for five hours? Appetizer - none. My Main Course - Flank steak taco with pineapple salsa. This comes as build your own taco, I was a little surprised by that. I ordered my meat cooked medium, I got well down. After telling my wife about it she is like why didn't you send it back? You are kinda a zombie at this point and want to eat. The meat was not even sliced all the way through and the slices were too thick. The seasoning on the meat was really good. The tortillas were heated, like any good Mexican restaurant would do. But you do not fold them in half then heat them to cause a crease. This creates a break line while eating your taco. The pineapple did not even have the texture or taste, texture wise I would have guessed mango. The grilled pepper was probably the best part. Dessert - No dessert. Service - It started off good. It ended with my bill being dropped and him telling me no hurry. Few minutes later I get my card out and place in the folder. The place is small; you can even see all the employees. I waited a bit and bit longer. I looked around and around. I finally handed my bill and card to another waiter so I could get going. Future - Nope.

We walked here from the furthest away part of the airport (Terminal E) based on the great Yelp reviews. Very nice for an airport restaurant. Classy, peaceful vibe w/ music playing and friendly staff. We shared the shrimp Cobb salad, and fish sandwich, and the fish sandwich was our clear favorite. Cobb salad was pretty good, but just 4 small skewered shrimp, for $17, and wasn't a fan of the apricot dressing served w/ it (too sweet and jam-like; ordered a side of lime vinaigrette, and liked it much better. But the fish sandwich (big piece of perfectly cooked grilled halibut) w/ sweet potato fries was great! The burgers looked really good, too. Would definitely recommend and come back!
(5)Wes T.
This is not fast food and it's darn good! Full service dining and gourmet quality. The lamb meatball appetizer is very good and the grilled avocado Cobb salad with chicken was tasty. Will dine here again next ski trip.
(5)Michelle L.
On a layover in SLC, this is about as good as it gets. I sat at the bar and the bartender was super friendly and prompt with service. Typically don't have a lot of time between flights so it is nice to get a quick bite and get out of there. The jalapeno poppers were really, really good!
(4)Nick L.
Always enjoy late flight in or out of SLC because I know I'll have a healthy, fresh and enjoyable meal.
(5)Lynne P.
I've written on Cat Cora's before and will continue to write to praise the superb service, food and experience I have here every single week. I come through SLC on a weekly basis and Cat Cora's has become like a little haven for me. Gerry, the manager, is the best of the best, as is his staff. I very much appreciate how warmly I am greeted every week. It is incomparable and Rashid and the others take great pride in their service and role with each and every customer. You could never go wrong here and never a need to go elsewhere. Thank you guys!
(5)Lynne P.
I travel to SLC virtually every week and Cat Cora's is my "go to" restaurant. Not only because the food is fantastic (must try hummus and cheese plate), but the staff are top notch. The manager is second to none and a friendly face I see weekly who always takes great care of me. I am grateful for their warmth and superb service. This is THE restaurant at Slc airport. Lynne
(5)Joshua L.
I was pretty impressed with this place. There's never anywhere to get a good breakfast in SLC south of the airport so I stopped to grab a bite after my plane arrived. The coffee was surprisingly good which is always a shock in an airport restaurant. I also had a roasted chile omelet w/ gruyere cheese and it was one of the best omelets I've had in a while. Really well done and not over cooked. Overall a shockingly good airport dining experience. I'll be back for sure. PS - Cat Cora is hot. Just sayin'...
(4)Eva H.
In the SLC airport, ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese with grilled onions. Super TASTY, but the tomato soup must be the smallest cup of soup in the entire universe. Plus, they jam a slice of the sandwich into the soup which makes it even smaller. It was very good, I wish I had more soup tho, I liked dipping and there wasn't enough.
(3)Ann J.
I think this restaurant is great as far as airport restaurants go. Good service and the food is good too. I really like the cucumber martini.
(4)Jesse J.
Avoid at all costs if you are wanting Cat Cora type food or anything more than just a little above average airport food. I was very disappointed as I am a huge Cat Cora fan. I sat at the chef counter and while awaiting my clam and sausage appetizer I saw the "chef" take a steak right off the grill and slice it right away. All the juice spilled out and he acted like that's just how it's done. Cat would be so disappointed if she saw that. Hopefully she can pay a surprise visit to stuff with her name on it and set some standards before it makes her look bad.
(2)Bruce A.
I would have expected the food to be first rate as I am a big fan of Cat. The omelette was fine, the fingerling potatoes were hard and dry. The kitchen put a sausage on my plate instead of bacon and when I tried the sausage it was stone cold. Better food opposite concourse C, Market Street.
(2)Blake F.
There was a mouse running around the restaurant when I was dining here. Makes you wonder about the food prep cleanliness.
(1)Kristen L.
Way overpriced for bad and small portioned food. I first ordered the grilled artichoke- hardly got anything out of it and it was tough, no bueno - and for all that?! $11. Looked to my right and saw someone order the $12 clams- all 5 of them. Looked at someone else's dish that looked like the $23 fettuccini - it looked abysmal. Sucks that someone who has a good reputation as a chef puts their name on something that's just crappy. Even though I'm still hungry, I can't bring myself to order anything else because it all just looks bad.
(1)Lauren S.
This is no ordinary airport diner. Great food and amazing service. Being in hospitality I notice the details and this staff was as good as a high end restaurant. I had a simple but delish breakfast but they have great lunch and dinner menus., and full bar.
(5)Kelly J.
To being with I need to say... I usually loathe airport food. But there is finally a bright spot in the blah food world that is the Salt Lake Airpot. Cat Kora kitchen in the lower part of B gates isn't just good. It's amazing!! I love grabbing my yogurt, berries and granola in the morning with coffee. But I have now experience the deliciousness that is the flank steak tacos. Go have them and you are welcome because they are that yummy. And the staff is delightful! Great servers, bussers and management! Ask for Katie as a server. Trust me you'll be glad you did!
(5)Trina M.
Yea, so I've been in the SLC airport a few times and given this place a shot about three times, this week being the LAST. She may have won master chef, but there's nothing master about this airport spot. The first time there, I had the grilled chicken sandwich with chimichurri sauce - blech! The second time with my boss, we split the homemade chips and blue cheese dip - that was pretty ok. This past time, I had the lobster mac and cheese (which had to have been made with the tiniest lobsters ever because there was mac and cheese but hardly any lobster - my travel buddy had the flank steak tacos which had less flavor than the tacos at Taco Cabana. I solemnly vow from this day forward that I shall only stop at Popeye's which is just a few steps down and on the other side of the hallway to eat when I am in this airport - at least I know I will get a tasty piece of chicken!
(2)Bruce B.
Tasty food but very small portions for the price. Nice bar and music on the B concourse After the $12 breakfast I left hungry.
(3)D W.
Not a good breakfast. I can't talk to lunch, but breakfast is really unimpressive. I had their Chile Omelet. It looked more like a scrambled egg. The bacon wasn't crispy at all and potatoes were barely cooked.
(2)Bowdoin S.
Cat Cora is a high profile chef and given that I had a two hour layover and always wanted to try her cuisine, I had to check this place out. I arrived ~ 9 am and the place was empty so I had my choice in seating. The ambience is nice - nice relaxing music playing, clean, bright looks, and pictures of a smiling Cat Cora adorning all of the walls. Unfortunately, they would only offer me the breakfast menu, and I am not that much of a breakfast person and the "normal" menu looked a lot more interesting. I chose the egg white scramble with feta cheese, spinach, and tomatoes. The dish was accompanied with chicken sausage, fingerling potato wedges, and toast. Overall, the food was very inconsistent in terms of the seasoning. In general, I prefer underseasoning, since I can always add some salt as needed. The chicken sausage was definitely underseasoned, while the potatoes had some pieces that were underseasoned, and some overseasoned. Some were also slightly overcooked and a bit dry. The egg scramble was overseasoned as well, and I would have preferred more spinach and tomatoes - there were just token amounts of these ingredients. Service was fine and unobtrusive and I paid ~ $16 for the meal, but overall the experience was a bit underwhelming given the association with the celebrity chef.
(3)Therese L.
Awesome food and great service. We had the clam appetizer, the house made chips and warm bleu cheese appetizer and the chimmichurri chicken sandwich. The flavors were top quality, fresh, bright and delicious. Clearly a very well managed restaurant, high quality.
(5)Bruce E.
Cheese plate was amazing with each piece of cheese emerging from a honeycomb base. The asparagus was marinated in lemon and grilled. Stay away from the bland lamb balls. The main courses are also a little pricey.
(4)Dale B.
Portions are very small. 1 slice of toast for 2 eggs. 4 small potato wedges. 12.00 order an additional slice of toast. By the time it arrived the eggs were cold and it cost 1.50 for that slice. Not a big fan at this point. Servers friendly though and the food was alright. I probably wouldn't eat here again.
(2)Chrissy K.
For airport food, this is the best it will ever get! Quick, delicious, and beautifully presented... we almost wanted to order seconds just to have something in case we get hungry on our flights (completely unnecessary but would be totally worth it)! We had the burger and the lamb shank. The lamb shank was a bit small but simply delicious. The burger was also delicious (so different from the typical fast food restaurants you find in airports). If you see Cat Cora's Kitchen in any airport, definitely check it out because it's the best airport food you'll ever get!
(5)Sue C.
A delicious, fresh meal in an airport - yay!! My roasted beet salad was delightful - lots of contrasting flavors and textures. The sweet potato fries were top-notch. His fish and chips were crispy, well-cooked and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant. If you're passing through Salt Lake City, take a longer layover and treat yourself to some fine dining. The ambiance still says "airport" but the food and service are great. I do wish that restaurants would remove the televisions, they are quite distracting.
(4)Deb D.
This was my first and last time at Cat Cora's kitchen. It was a Friday at 7pm. I walked in wanting to sit at the bar but it was full (small restaurant). I had to walk up to the ? hostess and ask to sit at the end of the ? bar area which was really not attached tI the bar at all. It was a small area that allows you to watch the cooks! I say cooks because if you can't make a piece of fish, which was halibut you are not a chef! I ordered the fish sandwich which came on a brioche bun with a piece of lettuce, tomato and purple onion. You also had a choice of side and I got the side salad which was good. The sandwich came with NO sauce of any kind. I asked a waiter walking by if this was missing sauce and he said it doesn't come with sauce. He went on to explain that the chicken sandwich comes with a sauce but not the fish. I really wanted sauce like aioli or anything because the fish was very dry and over cooked. I've had halibut all over the world and this halibut was tasteless and dry dry dry! The blonde waitress with the black glasses who took my order asked what kind of sauce I wanted? She came over with mayo! No thanks. She then proceeded to tell me that no customer had ever complained about the fish sandwich, which I replied by saying then they have never had halibut cooked to perfection. She continued to argue with me so I told her to take it away. I had 2 small bites of the halibut and that was about all I could take. What a shame and shame on you Cat Cora!! I've seen you cook on food network and other cooking shows. You are better than this. If you are going to put your famous name on something pay attention to the business and the quality of food coming out of your restaurant!! I gave you 1 star for the name Cat Cora!

A hidden gem at this airport. Roasted beet salad and lamb meatballs were great. I come to SLC once a week and bummed I didn't find this place sooner.
(4)Jenn L.
Had great service here! Tried the breakfast and lunch in one sitting because we got here before they serve lunch at 11:00 am. The food wasn't anything earth-shattering, but it tasted healthy and clean. The portions are normal (slightly smaller) sized. Breakfast menu - egg white omelette Lunch menu - fresh catch fish sandwich, side of sweet potato fries Both were good, but not memorable.

(3.5) ~ Decent for Airport fare;)

I always tend to bump up the rating a bit for airport restaurants because the standard is quite a bit lower. I was pleasantly surprised by this airport food, however. I got a beet salad and the potato chips and blue cheese dip. I had ample time before my flight, but I can imagine it would be nerve racking if you did not. The food was not exactly fast. The beet salad was a pretty standard beet salad with arugula and goat cheese. Nothing I couldn't make at home but much more satisfying than standard airport fare. I wouldn't recommend the potato chips and blue cheese if you're by yourself. That whole "you can't have just one" turns into "you can't have just 30 and the person sitting next to you on your flight is going to hate you"

Had to fly out of SLC on a quick trip to CA and was hungry. I had not seen this place before at the airport and it turned out it was only open for 15 days when I ate there. I didn't want anything heavy so I had the beet salad with goat cheese crostini. Very very good. Just enough food for me and it was very tasty. The atmosphere is upscale and the staff super friendly. I enjoyed my meal there and had time to chat with the bartenders and fellow diners. I highly recommned eating here if you are at the SLC airport.

I ordered the roasted beet salad for $12. The beets were slimy and the arugula wilted in part. The dressing was uninteresting. A fruitfly kept swarming my plate. I ate approximately a third of the salad and became concerned that I would suffer the consequences later. Two small crackers with goat cheese accompanied the meal, I ate those. While the restaurant was not enjoying a good food day I would be amis to not compliment the waitress, host, and manager. They dealt with the issue immediately refunding my meal. An offer was made to substitute another item. Other patrons have given this establishment very good reviews, produce does go bad so hopefully this will be an isolated incidence.
(2)David J.
Good food and service. More than you might expect from an airport restaurant. I've had the burger, chicken sandwich and beet salad. All good and worth having again. Nice modern decor, bar and relaxing music.
(3)Jazzjunkie W.
There aren't many quality choices in most American airports. This place doesn't alleviate the problem much. We had extremely mediocre breakfast food for a ridiculous price; the only outstanding bit was the speed of service - for the check, that is. To be fair, perhaps they're better at lunch/dinner service.
(2)Mary S.
Good food and great wine list for an airport restaurant that isn't Vino Volo. Healthy wine pours. Friendly staff, they are very attentive. One of my favorite places to go before a flight at SLC airport.
(4)Wagner R.
In this morning I grab a tuna sandwiche for breakfast, what I notice was pure bread not enough filling, so disappointed, the taste was good but for the price...I will think twice next time

Okay for an airport bar. I was expecting great offerings with Cat Cora's name, but found the menu, at least the apps, to be average. Service was okay, inattentive and dismissive at times. There's a power outlet under the bar. You can leave your rollers at the hostess stand if it's tight at the bar. Happy travels.
(3)John C.
Excellant. This is fine dining by any standards, it just happens to be in an airport. The salads had very fresh greens, and tasty dressing. My wife liked the gourmet lobster mac & cheese. I had a perfectly prepared halibut sandwich (it was the fish of the day). They have home made potato chips, or sweet potato fries, and a good wine selection as well. This is a great place if you have time to enjoy it.
(5)Maggie F.
Definitely the best food I've EVER had in a domestic terminal. How refreshing it was to eat a grilled artichoke and diver scallops during my layover! A wonderful change from the usual, subpar fare typically available in airports. The only improvement would have been to cook the artichoke and fettuccine slightly less. Pasta should be al dente, of course. The bartender, Terry, was seriously the most pleasant, positive worker at an airport I have EVER encountered. He was friendly and upbeat with an utterly fantastic attitude. Kudos!
(4)Sean W.
I ordered the NY Strip (Med Rare) and Mac n Cheese. First one came out over cooked. The 2nd one came out undercooked because I think the cook(definitely not a chef) was upset that I sent the first one back. I overheard him complaining to the waiter. Not pleased with my experience at all! Cat Cora should remove her name immediately!
(1)Keith S.
Probably the best airport food I have ever had. Not many places you can go in an airport and get a grilled halibut with capers and amazing sauce. The service was great and the wine list was better than expected as well. I eat at a lot of airports and I will absolutely come back next time I'm in Salt Lake City.
(5)Travis B.
Strolling through terminal B now leaves me torn between a love for Popeye's (that ypou cannot get outside of the airport currently) and Cat Cora's kitchen. The decor is nice and the feeling is more upscale than most restaurants in the airport. The tables are a little too close together for travelers with any kind of carry on luggage and it is a little tight between tables forcing the "butt or crotch" decision while climbing in to the tables. I chose the Chimichurra Chicken Sandwhich. Delighted. Absolutely DELIGHTED at how wonderful it was. WIth a $14 price tag I was expecting good and actually got great!. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and very moist. the fresh toppings and sauces were excellent and I found the cucumber to be a nice added touch. The only disappointment was the sweet potato fries. They are the same, frozen fare offerred at every restaurant in the valley. I was expecting a little bit more.
(4)K Sera S.
I mean, we are talking about airport food here, people. So let's temper our expectations a bit. Was the food amazing? No. But it was certainly a good bit better than a cellophane-wrapped sandwich of white meat (turkey? chicken? poodle?) out of a cold case. My burger was nicely cooked, the brioche bun fresh, and the salted caramel slab of sweet was a nice precursor to getting on my flight home. Nothing like a full-on sugar buzz to ease you through a five-hour flight!
(3)Sara M.
We had a long layover in SLC on our way west for Christmas. And luckily this restaurant was on our way between gates. So we had a nice mid afternoon snack of drinks and a small plate each. I loved the lamb meatball skewer and my husband enjoyed his cobb salad. The service was friendly and quick, so we could eat here again, even with less time between flights. It was very nice to get such interesting and good food in an airport. This is a growing trend I love to find.
(4)Penson L.
Serviceable burger, though cooked way past the requested temp and the brioche bun is a little too bready for the size of the burger. Side of mixed greens had some nice cherry tomatoes and olives mixed in, but the lettuce probably shoulda been tossed a few days ago. Couple slimy black pieces, come on now. Buddy had the grilled avocado Cobb salad, looked pretty good. Basically not a bad place to get some decent food if you don't mind spending a little more.

What is there not to love about this place!? The fact that it's in an airport makes it even better! Food options like Cat Cora's are rare gems in airports, and I'm glad I was persuaded to come in by the charismatic host that was working this evening. WESTIN is the best host! He was extremely knowledgable about the menu and was able to provide excellent suggestions based on my hunger level. He is great at connecting with customers (and passerby) without being obtrusive or sales-y. His personality is friendly and refreshing. I went with his recommendation of the edamame hummus plate, which was super delicious. I also dined on the beet salad with some added halibut (which apparently is fresh from Alaska). My waitress, Anna, was perfectly attentive and helpful. Not only is the service great and the food the best you'll find at any airport, but it is practically an electronics charging oasis. There are outlets everywhere, even under the counter if you choose to sit at the bar. Long story short - if you are in the B terminal for your flight, hungry, and wanting to avoid the fast food scene, just come on over to Cat Cora, have a drink and some good food, and relax before takeoff. Thank you CC Kitchen for a great experience!
(5)Andrew C.
I travel through SLC airport frequently and just found this place recently. It will now be my go-to place to eat when on a layover there. Food is way better than typical airport grub. They got me in and out in less than an hour and I even had time for a second glass of wine without missing my connection. Wait staff was attentive, plenty of places to charge my phone, and a good vibe. The steak tacos were very tasty.
(4)Brian P.
What a wonderful hidden gem!!! I had the roasted chili omelette with chicken sausage... Both were cooked perfectly and fantastic. The breakfast menu was ample without being expansive, the five or six choices would suit any weary traveler. The attention to detail in this restaurant was perfect, even the butter and jelly for my toast were unexpectedly noteworthy. I definitely look forward to my next layover in Salt Lake City so that I can enjoy this restaurant again!
(5)Shane W.
The cheese with fruit and honeycomb is deliciously light and tasty. The cheeseburger is alright, but better than than other places in the airport. The sweet potato fries are not breaded and are very good.
(4)Chuck M.
I am reserving my 5th star until I have an opportunity to spend some time looking around in the store. I was pressed to catch my flight home and this store caught my eye...I quickly entered and picked for myself a sandwich and a bag of chips to bring on the plane to Seattle. I did notice that this store had much more than the food I was looking for....they had books and other items for the buyers....I want to check these out my next time through the airport.
(4)Wendy W.
Had a long lay over, so decided to have lunch here. Here's what we've ordered: Steamed clams. Really good. Mango steak taco. Steak wasn't seasoned, just tasted mango, which was really sweet. Crab macaroni. Bland. Cream spinach. It's ok. Chicken salad. Wished they didn't grilled the avacado. Would probably eat something else next time....
(3)David L.
In all my travels I always look for a good spot to eat in the airport. This place would get a 5 from me if the ambiance was not so exposed. That is all. The halibut in a white wine reduction with capers and sweet potato fries is excellent. I am soaking the fries in the sauce, the fish is tender and has tremendous flavor, and I dont want this dish to end. Highly recommended. Stop by if you get a chamce, you won't be disappointed.
(4)Cyndi J.
The snow and Delta held us hostage in the SLC airport for 4 additional hours, but not to fear, my husband and his newly-developed keen sense of restaurant-choosing found Cat Cora's. I'm really wavering between 3 and 4 stars here. I love Cat Cora and the concept of as local and as organic as you can get for airport food, but it was just okay. The martini was decent. I ordered the burger, it came out well done and not well seasoned. Of course, the chef didn't think I needed salt, but my palate begged to differ. The sweet potato fries fell short, as well. My husband had steak tacos, but it was a really tiny portion and he was still hungry when we left. Service was okay. It was busy and crowded, but if you have to be in an airport this long, this place wasn't as bad as others.
(3)Jenny S.
I'm torn between three or four stars for several reasons. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, which an be unusual in an airport bar/restaurant. I had the spicy tomato soup which was amazing. Not too spicy and I don't even normally like tomato soup. It also came with an incredible grilled cheese sandwich. The taste was good but the sandwich was put together kind of sloppy. But Their drink menu included a cucumber martini that wasn't the best I've ever had but they are so unusual to find I had two
(3)Chris W.
Terry B. is an awesome bartender with incredible customer service skills. And they've got Fireball!
(5)Pete B.
Best airport breakfast we've ever had, plus it's healthy!! Adam our server/bartender made our experience even better! Kudos!!
(5)Justin C.
The best food I've had at an airport, ever. I had the Halibut special and it was delicious, flaky, and fresh. I've heard the flank steak special is fantastic too.
(5)Jonathan R.
Immediately after getting off the plane I was starving and Cat Cora's was RIGHT THERE. I walked by it and thought about it. About half way to my gate I decided to go back. I was seated at the counter looking out onto the lobby. I ordered the Cat Cora's Kitchen Angus Beef Burger on Brioche Bun with cheddar cheese, cooked rare. Great thing is, when it came, it was actually rare. Thank God. It was pretty delicious too. It came with a side of sweet potato fries, but you can also get a salad or tomato soup. The service was good, but it seemed inconsistent. It went from smile, no smile, smile, no smile. Sometimes she would ask me how it is, sometimes she would just look me in the eyes and walk away. The manager is right there at the front, trying to bring people in and asking how everyone's food is. The decor of the place makes it look more upscale grill rather then a diner which is nice.
(4)Ryan M.
Very good quality food and professionally delivered. Somewhat expensive but no more than I would expect for airport dining. I would go here again.
(4)Laura T.
Just stopped in for a quick salad and the Cobb salad dressing was amazing! Would definitely stop in here again for my next visit!
(5)Standards H.
Cat Cora's is a very nice upgrade from the previous bar type establishment that used to occupy this location. We ordered margaritas and I was very impressed that they were made from scratch, not the nasty sugary sour mix many places use. I had a delicious chicken sandwich with roasted red pepper tapenade that was definitely above average for airport grub. The hamburgers the rest of my crew ordered were slightly above average but I like that they served sweet potato fries as a side instead of regular fries. Also, unlike many other establishments, I didn't have to pay extra to get a salad with my sandwich instead of fries. My only complaint would probably be the prices. I thought they were a little steep for sandwiches and burgers but I guess that's pretty standard for airport food.
(4)Isaiah X.
Had a lot if extra time so thought I'd have a good airport meal. Sat at the bartop, waitress was very informative & nice. Ordered Cat Cora's Pale Ale...mmm, tasty. Looked over the menu & awaited her return. Read every word on the menu & still no return. They got a rush so must have forgotten about the bar top. Flagged her down & just checked out. Food looked great but I'll never know. Goin to Popeyes Chicken, yeah it's a step down but at least I know I'll get it.
(3).Hon H.
I had only a cup of coffee for breakfast, and when I learned that my flight was delayed, I was excited that I could check out Cat Cora's Kitchen. Too bad the reality wasn't all that great.... The server was prompt and immediately began to up sell me on the menu. Umm, I really don't want a cocktail at 7AM, even if it's made out of fresh squeezed or juiced fruit/veggies. Nor do I want to super-size my breakfast. The egg white omelet will be just fine, thanks. It actually was fairly decent, but way under seasoned, and came with one slice of cold, plain, whole wheat toast. I think Cat knows I'm on a diet.
(3)Jacqueline C.
I usually don't eat at airports, so my review will be based only on the service and bar. The staff was really friendly and polite and I love Adam as a bartender! Very professional and fast! All you need at an airport bar for a quick drink before your flight! I always stop there for drinks! Bloody Mary is good too...
(5)Lyndsay R.
This place was a big let down. My fiance and I had a layover in SLC over the weekend and we were so excited to see Cat's restaurant. We are HUGE foodies and love watching her on Iron Chef. We sat at the bar for dinner. The bartender was terrible. He tried being funny but just ended up being rude. I told him I had a few questions about the menu, and he looked at me and said "We don't allow questions here." He obviously was trying to be funny and sarcastic, but it was awkward. I told him that I was gluten-free and asked what on the menu was safe for me to eat. I asked about a specific dish, and he said " I think it is alright". I told him that I needed to be more sure than that, and he huffed off to find another server. Neither staff member was able to provide me any further information about whether their food was gluten free or not. Now I understand that not everyone will know exactly what is in the food, and that they were only open for a few weeks, but they should have been able to go to a manger (which they did not have on site) and ask about food allergies. The food and drinks were totally overpriced. I had a glass of Alamos Malbec, which in any other restaurant would be $7 or $8, but they charged $10. We ended up getting a Beet Salad with goat cheese, and Clams in garlic and wine sauce. The portions were very small. The salad had maybe 5 tiny cubes of beets and the goat cheese was not fresh. When we got the clam dish, which they told us was totally gluten-free, there were CROUTONS cooked in. I was so upset. Plus the clams were tiny and we only got 5. Overall this place is pretentious, way over-priced, and the staff seems to have some chip on their shoulders. They do not know anything about their food, which does not bode well for anyone with food allergies. I will not be back.
(2)Suzanne R.
Ordered the steak tacos. They were tough and flavorless even after I put salsa on them. The chimichurri that came with them was really bitter. There is no lobster in the lobster Mac and cheese. Service was ok. I should have eaten at Popeye's.
(2)Mike W.
Nice healthy menu with only a few choices which is nice. Food was great for airport food. Really did a nice job.
(4)Lindsay W.
What a surprise to find a tasty healthy meal at an airport! I was tired, jet-lagged, and frustrated looking for something vegetarian. When I stopped at this restaurant and read the menu, the host greeted me politely. I told him I was looking for something vegetarian, and he immediately pointed out several options. The grilled cheese and delicious tomato soup hit the spot. Servers were also friendly. I noticed some great deserts, but this modest meal filled me. I also appreciated the refills on water and soda. Incidentally, I was offered the option of charging my phone or lap top while I dined - also nice.
(5)Rosann K.
So far, great. Haven't tasted the food yet, but it was taking a while and I didn't want to miss boarding early on my flight (SW AList). The manager brought the food to the gate. And wouldn't you know it - deflated a few minutes. Later I'll let you know if the food is as good as it smells.
(4)Kevin L.
Service just ok. Spilled some beer on my jacket and table and said nothing. Cat Cora pale ale is refreshing good after a long day. Just had two of them. Can't comment on the food though.
(3)Todd K.
Great place to eat. Looks like it doesn't belong in an airport nice... Food was excellent. We will be back next time we fly through! Simple menu with real fresh ingredients. Prepared our food fast and we were in and out in 35 min.
(5)Michael C.
Impressive takes on classics. Wonderful to see whole grilled fresh artichokes on the menu in an airport restaurant. One of the best bloody's I've had. Healthy and fresh fare and our waitress was awesome.
(4)Chris S.
I hadn't been to the SLC Airport in a couple of years, and it was surprising to me that Cat Cora has a restaurant here. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup, and the soup was far better than the grilled cheese, which was not bad but very average. The service was very good, particularly in an airport where you may need to leave to grab your flight at a moment's notice. I'll definitely be back - it beats the more awful options, like an airport Chilli's or other bad chains.
(3)Tom M.
Had dinner at Cat Cora, come to find out she was an Iron Chef. The quality of the food really shows, some of the best airport food I've had. Our server James was top notch, overall a really pleasant experience in an otherwise crummy airport.
(4)Mahesh M.
This is seriously the best airport food we have had. Great service, great presentation, healthy food, very tasty. A wonderful way to spend a layover in terminal B.
(5)Jeromy J.
Very overrated
(1)Brian E.
Flank steak tacos were awesome! They work fast too, so you can get in and out in 30 minutes easily. Wine list overpriced for Salt Lake and not in line with menu pricing, that's my main reason for mediocre rating
(3)Noel P.
I would recommend stopping by this place if you're ever in SLC International Airport. Food was very flavorful and the staff are super friendly. Will definitely go back again the next time i fly in and out of SLC.
(4)Janet S.
Never heard of Cat Cora before, just saw the lamb meatballs on the menu and was hooked. 3 Lamb Balls $8, sweet pot fries $5 and a massive pour of merlot $9. Excellent quality and value for money. The entrees were a lot more expensive and we just could not run to high twenties for airport food. Service was so so but it did not matter as those lamb balls were flippin' lovely.
(4)Scott M.
An early morning flight put me at the airport at breakfast-time, and Cat Cora's was in-between my partners gate and mine. It was location and not Cat's name that drew us in. In fact, the positioning of superstar chef's names at Airport restaurants always gives me pause. It practically shouts that the place will over-promise and under-deliver. I'd rather pay the $4.25 for a $1.99 Egg McMuffin at Duck's and take the ass-raping as rote. A fast gaze at the menu almost put me off my feed when I saw the "Roasted Chili Omelet" for $12. That's a steep tariff for eggs and peppers. As it was on the company's nickel, and I wasn't feeling charitable, I ordered it anyway, with Gruyere Cheese and Sausage. I noticed there was not a salt and pepper service on the tables. How haute, I figured. Like I said, big name, big attitude. You better show me something I ain't seen before. The waitstaff was cheerful and prompt. I also sat close enough to the open kitchen to see the well-dressed cooks. They looked and acted like pros, their movements consistent with those of a brigade. If I was going to get overpriced crap at least it appeared that it would be prepared with care. The plate arrived, and I must say it looked like it was made of plastic. Too perfect. The Omelet was on the small side, the sausage looked like a prop, and the potatoes looked the same. The Toast even looked like an advertisement come to life. I didn't trust it. Damn! Digging into the omelet, I found it to be perfectly cooked with just the right amount of tasty peppers and a perfectly unctious core of Gruyere. Not a hint of wayward grease on the plate. Uh-oh... Now I'm hoping that the sausage is going to suck, 'cos I don't want to find out that the $12 tariff was worth it, and this place was actually a fine restaurant, and those chefs weren't a Disney-trained pair long on style and short on talent. The sausage was out-of-this-world. DEFINITELY not a Bob Evans/Brown & Serve Pork Torpedo. I've had handmade gourmet sausage and this was of the same cloth. The flavor was elusive, I couldn't quite place it-but i said "to hell with it" and just enjoyed the big flavor. And again, no grease. As I'm on a low-carb regimen, I had planned to eschew the potatoes, but I had to try them-secretly hoping they would be crap, I tried them. Fabulous. Crunchy on the outside, soft and potato-ey on the inside. Perfectly seasoned, too. I did not need salt or pepper-VERY strange for breakfast potatos. Again, no grease. The Whole-Wheat toast seemed like it was toasted too hard. I allow myself one piece of toast with my breakfast (nodding to the low carb thing). I spread the butter on, and took a bite. Son-of-a-BITCH! The BUTTER was whipped and "good"-it tasted like Plugra. the bread was good, and the crisp toast suited it fine. So tasty I had the other piece as a splurge. The coffee was unique, too. Not your run-of-the-mill toilet water you usually get at airport restaurants. Tasty, with real cream offered. I'm one of those guys who has a Diet Coke with breakfast. The "throw" (or 'mix') was fine. My partner is not a big eater, and ordered a bowl of oatmeal, which looked good. He was arguing with the home office throughout the entire meal, and didn't comment either way on its quality. For Six Bucks it better had been good, Based on my breakfast, I'll bet it was. So Cat proved me wrong. The meal was a winner start-to-finish, with a quality that I would have expected at a regular (non-airport) restaurant. On my way out, I saw a gent that had the same plate as I, obviously finished, the plate bare except for the sausage which had one bite cut off the end. I wanted to go slap him say "don't you know good eats?" Maybe Cat should keep a box of Jimmy Deans on hand for the plebes...
(4)Alan L.
Service was quick, do much so we felt we were being rushed off. I had the fish sandwich with greens. Serving greens on a hot plate is a mistake, because the greens were wilted and I ate them immediately. The fish was great but about 3/4 of the way through the sandwich I hit a slice of red onion 3/4 inch thick that overpowered the sandwich. I expect to pick around my $4 sandwich at a cheap place, but at $19 I expect them to pay attention to details.
(3)Allan K.
Love this place for its large selection of fresh and healthy items.
(4)Steff T.
Great food for an airport but I'm only giving them 3 stars because both times I've eaten here the service has been slow. I was actually ignored for quite a while the first time I ate here but I gave them another chance since I fly out of SLC weekly. Second time service was mediocre. Also, it's pricey. Be ready to spend $20 for an entree and $10 for a cocktail. The bloody mary is excellent for a splurge though.
(3)Michael M.
I was at the SLC Airport, and in a bad mood because I missed my connecting flight to PHX. I wanted a nice meal, and Cat Cora delivered. The waitress was quick and attentive the whole time. I opted out of a cocktail or other drink because they were an average price of $10, but sounded delicious. I decided that in order to stifle my annoyance with Delta, I would eat a nice steak, so I ordered the New York Strip with the Lobster Mac and Cheese. This was a good decision. Even though the steak itself was slightly more done than medium-rare I ordered it, it was flavorful and had a good chew to it. The lobster mac and cheese was the big surprise though. I wasn't really expecting much, but the cheese sauce for the spiral macaroni was quite good, and the little lobster chunks added a nice accent. I'd eat there again for sure.
(4)Gregory S.
Very good food, light and fresh. Had the beet salad and seared halibut on ciabatta. Great place to have a beer and a healthy meal.
(5)Leon N.
I was stunned to see Cat Cora restaurant in a airport, and just had to try it. Now to be fair, did not taste main entrees which looked great, just got 2 appetizers. To start had the chips with Blue Cheese dip. This was $8 and was tasty, but felt was overpriced. The Jalapeno Poppers were terrible. They were really hard, only was given 3 on a plate, and each was cut in half, meaning got 1 1/2 poppers for over $8. Now they were hard, and did not have the taste that even fast food restaurants have. Beautiful restaurant though for a airport. Better quality food than many others for comparable price, just did not feel overwhelmed by the experience.
(3)Sam C.
For airport food, this is certainly a step above. But along with that you get a limited menu, high prices, and a few missteps. The fish sandwich and the steak tacos were good. The red olives in the salads and the salad dressing were good. However, the tapinade on the fish and chicken sandwiches are identical, despite being described differently on the menu (the chicken doesn't mention an olive base, which will be a disappointment for olive haters). My biggest issue is a small but vital detail. If you're serving good beers (I had the Cora pale), you DO NOT serve it in a frozen chilled glass. The result is a poured draft that ends up with a layer of ice at the top, which destroys the flavor and any hop result. Do you put ice in your beer at home? No, you don't. So paying six bucks so someone can ruin a perfectly good beer is a serious disappointment, and one for which a fine restaurant should know better.
(3)Mayu H.
I got buzzed so my fault 12 hour Utah layover-- yup that was me
(4)Jessica K.

(3)Blake F.
There was a mouse running around the restaurant when I was dining here. Makes you wonder about the food prep cleanliness.
(1)Wayne C.

(5)Jennica J.
Really love this place! Happy to have found a good place at a airport. I travel often for work and find few places to eat that are good. Happy to find this place
(2)Kristen L.
(4)Bruce B.
(2)Deb D.
(1)Monica K.
(3)Craig D.
(3.5) ~ Decent for Airport fare;)
(4)Kathleen K.
That whole "you can't have just one" turns into "you can't have just 30 and the person sitting next to you on your flight is going to hate you"
(4)Lori H.
(5)Connie F.

Kudos!
(4)Keith S.
Probably the best airport food I have ever had. Not many places you can go in an airport and get a grilled halibut with capers and amazing sauce. The service was great and the wine list was better than expected as well. I eat at a lot of airports and I will absolutely come back next time I'm in Salt Lake City.

(3)Scott M.
(4)Noel P.
